Robin Shine has been a practising celebrant since 1989. Her skills as a counsellor ensure high level interpersonal skills in interacting with people from all walks of life and in all of life’s often complex circumstances.
As a result of growing up in country Western Australia, Robin has a strong commitment to serving people in rural communities and is prepared to travel long distances to serve people who may otherwise be deprived of services or limited in their options.
Robin is a celebrant for two reasons – to give something
back to the community, and because she loves the opportunities it provides
to meet interesting people and help them at significant milestone events,
whether that is celebrating a new life, celebrating a life lived well
or joining two lives together.
Robin's wealth of experience as a public speaker means that the service will be beautifully presented and individually crafted. Her love of people means that her focus is on achieving what the clients want. The result is celebration which is tailored to meet individual taste, recognises cultural difference and is sensitive to the sometimes conflicting needs and wants that typify family gatherings.
Robin takes pride in being flexible and accommodating in her service delivery. This is demonstrated in her willingness to negotiate on all except the legal aspects of a wedding ceremony. For example, she is available as a celebrant every day of the year. Choosing to have your special celebration on a week day may prove to be more economical as well as beneficial in lots of other ways. She is flexible about fees, being willing to tailor a ceremony to fit your budget, as well as your lifestyle and other preferences. Robin encourages prospective clients to feel free to discuss any concerns they may have regarding fees, alternative times and settings, or wanting to keep everything as simple and low key as possible.
